Use Wishbone from Claude or ChatGPT
Wishbone works inside the AI assistant you already use. Ask it who you know at a company, what you last talked about with someone, or which follow-ups are due, and it answers from your Wishbone. You need a Wishbone account first.
The connection address is https://app.wishbone.network/api/mcp.
Claude
- Open this link. It opens Claude’s connector settings with Wishbone filled in. Or go to Customize, then Connectors, add a custom connector, and paste the address above.
- Select Add, then Connect. Claude opens Wishbone.
- Sign in, choose read only or read and write, and approve.
ChatGPT
- In ChatGPT, open Plugins and select +, then add a custom MCP server.
- Name it Wishbone, paste the address above, and choose OAuth.
- Create it, then connect. ChatGPT opens Wishbone. Sign in, choose your access, and approve.
Custom MCP servers depend on your ChatGPT plan and workspace settings.
What the assistant can do
- Find people in your network by name, company, school, place or topic.
- Read what you know about someone: notes, meetings, reminders and recent contact.
- List follow-ups and reminders that are due.
- With read and write access, add a note, set or complete a reminder, or save an unsent draft.
Wishbone never sends an email or message on your behalf. Drafts stay unsent until you send them yourself.
See or remove a connection
Every connection appears on the Agents page in Wishbone, with a log of what it did. Revoke it there and it stops working at once. You can also remove Wishbone from your assistant’s connector or plugin settings.
If connecting fails
- Make sure you’re signed in to Wishbone in the same browser, then connect again.
- If the assistant says the connection expired, disconnect and connect again. Nothing in Wishbone is lost.
- Still stuck? Email the address above with the assistant you use and what you saw.
